‘Ethnic’ Matters more than a Good Resume, Deal with it!

In August 2011, two senior lecturers from University of Malaya, Dr. Lee Hwok Aun and Dr. Muhammed Abd Khalid conducted an experiment to find out how much ‘ethnicity’ matters when applying for a job in Malaysia.
They sent out some 3,012 fictitious Malay and Chinese ethnics resumes of varying qualities and qualifications in response to job advertisements.  For each job, the researchers sent out four fake resumes according to race but all with more or less the same traits and qualities.  All the “applicants” were male with no prior working experience but have a basic qualification in the field being applied for.
The employers are being divided into “Chinese-controlled, Malay-controlled or foreign-controlled” company.  (From my experience, it is save to consider foreign-controlled company as ‘Chinese-controlled company’ too, because it is usually run by Chinese while the foreign CEO or MD or Chairman oversees things from a ‘distant’).
From the total resumes sent, 13.1%(396) received callbacks.  Of those, only 4.2%(63) were Malays, and 22.1%(222) were Chinese.
The study also found that the quality of applicants appeared to matter more for Malays than for the Chinese.  Meaning, Chinese can get low CGPA but still get the job and Malays may get a Dean’s List but not be called for the interview.
This is no surprised.  This, is the reality of living in Malaysia that only the most hypocrites or the blinds would deny.
The findings was presented in a seminar and was given due publicity.  As expected, it received harsh responses, as seen in the comments of the readers of Malaysiakini or Malaysia Today.  It looks to me that they all ‘ganged-up’ on the net to discredit the experiment.
Being good Malaysians who did not want to stir the air, both Dr. Lee and Dr. Muhammad had only this to say in conclusion:  They cannot say for certain if racism is one of the factors.
So, the number of callbacks by both ethnics not necessarily had anything to do with ‘racism’.
It could be that these lecturers did not provide the most attractive photos of the Malay applicants in the resume.  Hmm….
You know what?  The biggest problem in Malaysia is not racism, but the denial that racism is real.   I’m not saying that there are no racist Malays.  Of course there are, but their numbers is just too low to even mention, as proven by the same experiment whereby a Chinese applying to a Malay company has about the same chances as a Malay applicant.
The discrimination against the Malays in the private sector is as real and as racist as the Affirmative Action or Hak Istimewa Bumiputera itself, only worse because there is no definite way to prove or measure the degree of discrimination and the worst because most Malaysians are reluctant to admit that Chinese are generally racists.
Even the two lecturers who had come out with the experiments tried their best to ‘tone-down’ the findings in order to not ‘hurt’ the Chinese.  Not that they are not aware that the Chinese have never toned-down their attacks on Affirmative Action or Hak Istimewa Bumiputera.
One must remember that the experiment had only gone as far as ‘callback for interviews’, not yet explore the chances of the Malays in ‘getting the job’ and ‘salary offered to both races’.   I’m sure that if there was, the findings would never be announced.
The two lecturers had done a great job in opening the doors for the government to take up the matter and solve the problem.  Ahah, in your dreams!
The findings, I believe, remains a record on the shelf and is already ‘fading’ away by now.
You see, we can tell the government to abolish Bumi Rights as a mean to tackle discrimination against the minorities in education and public sector, but how do we deal with discrimination against the Bumis in private sector?
It seems that nobody dares or nobody knows what to do about it.  Therefore, might as well deny it, sweep it under the carpet and hope that somehow, some day, the problem will just evaporate.  Of course, it will not, but will only keep mounting.
This is why I keep saying that the Malays have no choice but to be racists and guard their rights with all their might because if they don’t they will end up facing closed doors in every opportunity in this Chinese-dominated economy.
Chinese and Malays are both racists because racism has to go both ways in this country, or else, the Malays will end up not being able to further studies or get a job and will become beggars, homeless, thus, have no buying power, unless, they become  criminals.  Consequently, business can never prosper and everybody loses.
I’m no Chinese and neither am I a Malay therefore, I’m not a racist.  I just say things as it is.

DAP Does Not Tolerate May 13 Threat, but Welcomes it With Open Arms

A title from Kit Siang’s blog read: “DAP and PR will not condone or tolerate any May 13 threat but we are prepared to fully co-operate with UMNO and BN to ensure there will not be another May 13 in Malaysia.

I guess Kit siang needs to write long titles that already summed it all up, just in case people don’t read the whole write-up.

So, DAP will not tolerate people who threatened to start a May 13 bloodbath.  DAP will even work with UMNO to stop it.  DAP is all for peace and harmony, for love and unity.

Now, here’s DAP’s calling for peace, harmony, love and unity:

Don’t talk. All the time talking May 13, May 13. Bring lah May 13. You think what?
You think we’re scared, ah?” — P. Ramasamy, DAP Deputy Secretary-General.

Okay, we get it:  DAP doesn’t tolerate May 13 threat but it tolerates the people who asked for it, welcomes it and dare the Malays to start it.  This is love, peace, harmony and unity - DAP style.

I think everybody can sense very strongly that DAP has been trying to start May 13 ever since their lost in GE-13.  This explains why the party didn’t issue a warning or take any action against Ramasamy.

Unfortunately for DAP, the Chinese don’t have the guts to die for any cause at all.  Even their Blackout protests became a stupid joke.  DAP is now counting on the Malays and Indians to start the bloodbath while they take the farthest seats in the distance.

The ‘Allah’ issue has gotten them somewhere, but still not close enough to another May 13 riot - not that they have given up on the issue though.

In the mean time, DAP used Rayer to call for war with the Malays, and managed to get some stupid UMNO guys to respond as planned.  However, it didn’t get as big as DAP hoped for as there were no bloodbath.  After a while, the case just died down.

Now, Ramasamy is doing the same – calling out for war - asking for a bullet on behalf of his master.  Still, I believe, nothing will happen except for a police report which will end up in some files on the shelf somewhere in the police station.   Worse case, he could be charged but - no bloodbath.  What a disappointment for DAP.

DAP must have assumed that if they called the Malays ‘celaka’ and ‘coward’ loud enough, then the Malays will eventually run amok and they can blame the Malays for starting May 13.  By using Rayer and Ramasamy to make the call, they hope that the Chinese would be spared from the blame, and the bloodbath too.

I’m sure that the Malays are willing to die for their pride and their rights but, ‘die’, will only be the last resort because Malays are not Arabs.  Malays may seem shallow, emotional and impromptu, but when it is a matter of life and death, they always take time to think about the consequences.

Or else, how do you think the country managed to get its independence without tearing everything down?

Malays is a very soft and gentle race - they are no gangsters like Chinese or Indians.  The worst terror acts ever recorded in Malay history could be a few isolated cases of ancient Sultans killing a couple of innocent peasants.  Even the Sultans then, didn’t feel the need to start a war just to expand its territory.  That’s how we get so many Sultans in the country. They didn’t bother each other as they were all happy just to be able to live comfortably.

While the Chinese Emperors, Roman leaders, Huns the barbarians or Genghis Khan the conqueror killed to expand their territories, the Malays already know how to value peace and humanity.  The Malays may not have such great buildings to boast about, but that is okay, as long as nobody is hungry.  There were no need for ‘ego’ or ‘greed’ in the Malay land then.  Because of their peaceful nature, the land was blessed.

And so the Tanah Melayu prospers throughout centuries after centuries.  Then, the Portugese, the Dutch, the Japanese and the Brits came with greed and ego.  The Brits later brought in the Indians and the Chinese - doubling the greed and ego.

Still, the only thing in the minds of the Malays is to live peacefully.  So, when the Malays were forced to accept Chinese and Indians as citizens in order to gain independence - they did.  And as we can see today, it was not a very wise decision, but ‘peace’ has its price.

You see, the Malays may be lazy but they are definitely not stupid.  They know what matters most.  Whereby the Chinese aren’t so smart but they are definitely hardworking.  When a Malay is not lazy, he easily excels and that is when the Chinese becomes intimidated and started the backstabbing and the racist game.  (I can see this clearly from my office room).

One thing for sure is that there are more rational Malays than rationale Chinese, which is why the country is still intact even with all these racial and religious provocation.

The few irrational Malays choose to flock over with the irrational Chinese and Indians in Pakatan Rakyat.  We can see them marching down the streets tearing the city apart from time to time, hoping for a confrontation with the rational Malays and start a May13-like bloodbath.

Of course, the rational Malays have so many other things to do than entertain them.  And so the irrational Malays are left running around, screaming and jumping alone on the streets for a couple of hours before they got tired, may be collect some RM50 from someone, and go home - a far-fetched from May13-like bloodbath.

Bottomline is that, if DAP wants to repeat May 13, they have to do it themselves – just like the old days. Flip your history book and see how it started:  You wouldn’t find an Indian daring the Malays to come and get him.  You wouldn’t find Malays running amok against the Chinese over nothing.   You wouldn’t find Malays killing each other on the streets.

That was not how May 13 happened, DAP should know better.

So, if DAP really wants a repeat, do it right.

Diplomatic Relation between Taiwan and Malaysian-Chinese?

Taiwan has been known as the most preferable place for the Malaysian Chinese to further study and work, but the number has gradually reduced over the years as competition rises. Due to this, according the reports by Chinese newspapers, the Taiwan is offering some very attractive opportunities in its effort to attract foreign students.

Taiwan is being chosen by Malaysians Chinese because the country recognized the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) which is not recognized in Malaysia. Malaysian government refused to recognize UEC as it defies the effort of unity and is against the country’s aspiration of bringing the people together with one language. The students from SJKC or private chinese schools are known for their poor national language skill and lack of knowledge in the country’s history.

It is proven today that Chinese schools produced unpatriotic Malaysians. This was displayed to us by our students in Taiwan as they held our Malaysian flags upside down as a protest against 2013 election result.

They are not only unpatriotic but very much a racist. Their hatred towards Malays and Islam seems unbearable as shown in comments and posts in the social media. The hatred is spread around the internet and on the ground that it has now become a threatening disease.

What is interesting is that some Malays and Indians chose to send their kids to SJKC too, and many of them are able to master Mandarin perfectly. Few of them could have ended up in one of Taiwan’s university too....I don’t know.

However, unfortunately for these Malays and Indians, they are not entitled to the attractive offers by the Taiwan government as mentioned above.

The Taiwan government has made it clear that the offers are only for the Malaysian Chinese and not for all excellent UEC holders or Taiwan University graduates. In other words, apart from the diplomatic relation between the two countries, there is also a thing called ‘diplomatic relation between a country and a race’.

Among the offers made by Taiwan are job opportunities specifically for the Malaysian Chinese in Taiwan and a Credit Guarantee by Taiwan government specifically for Malaysian Chinese entrepreneurs without collateral, to receive bank loans in Malaysia.

Wow! Do you know what this means? It means that the Taiwan government is taking care of the Malaysian Chinese almost like their own ‘rakyat’. Now, the Chinese don’t have to ask for Malaysian government’s help anymore, they have Taiwan government to back them up. Problem with UEC is solved now because the Chinese kids can just further study and work in Taiwan. There is no need to question Malaysian government helping bumiputera businessmen anymore because the Chinese businessmen can run to Taiwan government for the same.

But I have a better idea, why don’t all Chinese move to Taiwan instead? That way would be easier for everybody. No more cries over Chinese Education, no more grudges over Bumi rights and no more Muslim’s prayer calls in the morning. We could all live a happier life after all.

What we can learn from this is that the racial bond of the Chinese is real. Their racism is real.
They can be Malaysians or Americans or Indonesians but their loyalty is only for the race and their love is only for the money. This, we must understand. Failure to understand this, will lead the country down the hill.

MCA, Gerakan, DAP, whatever their names are, they are the same. They are the Chinese. They stand as one - one way or the other. There is no right or wrong for the Chinese as they take it as they are always right. Someone put a cow’s head in front of an Indian MP’s house and blame the Malays, they must, not the Chinese. There is no need for an Investigation or Inquiry as the proper channels are only needed when a Chinese is being blamed.

You can’t argue on economic facts or chart up a graph to show how the government have helped them grow, and expect them to agree because they never will agree. They will only stop demanding when they have had it all and ‘all’ for them, is infinite.

They tell you that you must not bribe, but bribery is how they build their business. They accuse you of cronyism when they are given government monopoly contracts on a silver platter. They manipulate their party election and they call you a cheater.

They can do all these because they are racists. Hey, this is a fact just like it is a fact that Malays are mostly lazy.

You see, this is what the Chinese are all about. Hypocrites, shameless, no moral stance, no factual arguments, no guilt, no sorry, no thank you, no nothing until they get their feet up on your heads. All their talks about values are only for others - not them. All talks about patriotism, unity and aspiration will only be translated by them as ‘Chinese Supremacy’. Trying to negotiate with them is a proof of weakness which will only lead you to your palms and knees. You can't win with a racist unless you are a racist too.

I am sure that not all Chinese are as heartless, but finding one rationale Chinese is like finding a needle in a haystack. If only the government is clever enough to identify the rare species of rationale Chinese and get them together to form a force and work something out, maybe replace the NUCC or whatever…then, we might still have hopes.

Until then, the Malays will just have to defend their rights as fiercely as the Chinese try to grab it away. Now, don't hate the Chinese if you can't defend your rights.

All Races in DAP Must Fight for the Chinese!

There are not many Malays in DAP, although the party always claim that it is a multi-racial party. And among these few Malays, almost none of them made it to the top post. No matter how long they have served the party, they will always remain as just one of the members, without any significant position.

The same scenario can be seen in almost all our private sectors where Malays will remain as lower subordinates no matter how brilliant and capable they are. Only when there is a need, like liaising with government officers, the Malays will then be put forward as top representatives of the company. If there is no such need, they will remain as second-class employees.

The Malays in private sectors learned their lesson well. Most are very much aware of the Chinese’s strategy to keep them away from the more important posts and higher salary. Over time, they become stronger, smarter and all equipped with the will and ability to survive the backstabbing and discrimination by the Chinese. As a result, the Chinese find them more and more intimidating and therefore, will do much more to ‘curb’ the rise of these Malays. With the company being owned by the Chinese, the Malays cannot do much but hang on and remain on the ‘losing’ side in this ‘brutal warfare’.

The scenario might be the same in DAP but the Malays in DAP are of different material altogether. These Malays are proud to work even only as a writer for Roketkini – thinking that being accepted among the Chinese is a statement of their ‘exceptional’ ability. They would also be happy enough to be given a small post out of ‘obligation’ to help DAP project an image of a multi-racial party. They might not get even one vote by the non-Malay voters in the party election and managed to secure the small posts only by direct appointment, but they are proud just the same, believing that this is what ‘total equality’ is all about.

One girl, however, managed to get quite as high in DAP.

This girl, Dyana Sofea, ia a UiTM graduate, and a daughter of an UMNO Divisional Secretary. Dyana has been a Political Secretary to Lim Kit Siang for some time now, and she is said to be a candidate for Teluk Intan’s by-election.

How did Dyana, a Malay, manage to get that far and earned the trust of the ‘Emperor’ himself? Hmm…here’s the secret: The dumber you are, the higher you get. Of course, Tunku Aziz did get to the top in DAP, but something happened to him: He learned his lesson and became smart.

You see, in order for a Malay to ‘be’ in DAP, one must first show that they love the Chinese more than their own race. They must deny the fact that the Malays have rights to their own motherland like the Chinese have rights to hold on to their roots.

Dyana proved to be just that perfect Malay. This girl once made a statement that there are no more poverty among Malays in Penang in her effort to deny that total equality is still a far-fetched dream.

Although a product of bumiputera’s privileges herself, Dyana fights for UiTM to be opened to all races and condemned the fact that it only accepts bumiputeras. Dyana never bothers about Chinese schools though.

Also, she doesn’t mind the race polarization and Malay discrimination in private sectors but I’m sure that she cares about not having enough Chinese in government agencies.

It doesn’t bother Dyana that she can hardly find one Malay-owned shop in three to five blocks of shoplots in the city. But it must have bothered Dyana that there are only 7 Chinese in the list of 10 most riches people in Malaysia. Her small dysfunctional brain must have translated it as a clear evident of discrimination against the minority race.

Dyana also shares the same disappointment as Professor Ariffin Omar towards UiTM for holding a seminar on ‘Allah’ issue recently. The seminar is said to have hurt the Christians and so it has hurt Dyana and the Professor too, as they both are very sensitive, soft-hearted, Chinese-lovers, total-equality fighters. FYI, Prof. Ariffin is another DAP Malay who was appointed to the CEC just to add some ‘brownish’ in the voted ‘bright-yellow’ front. But even as a Professor, he couldn’t get as high as Dyana – most probably because he is ‘not dumb enough’.

Both Dyana and the professor claimed that UiTM had abused the freedom of speech by using the seminar to condemn the Christians.

For their information, my Christian friends see the ‘Allah-issue’ Seminar as Muslim’s retaliation against the non-stop provocation by the Evangelists. The rational, peace-loving, non-political Christians understand that there wouldn’t be such a seminar if their Evangelalist brothers didn’t insist on using ‘Allah’ in Bibles - just like there wouldn’t be such things as ‘special bumi rights’ if the Chinese ain’t so racist and insist on vernacular schools and all.

The point here is, in order to be ‘accepted’ by DAP, a Malay must fight for the Chinese, and better yet, for the Christians too. They must uphold Chinese as the greater race and accept their own race as lesser-race.

While BN allows MCA, MIC and UMNO to fight for each respective race in the spirit of friendship and patriotism, DAP allows all races in the party to fight for the Chinese alone - no other race matters.

I don’t know whether Dyana or Professor Ariffin will be reading this piece, but I know for a fact that even if they read this it will not change anything. In fact, they might just accuse me of being an UMNO guy trying to break them apart. Well, I hope they realize that I cannot be an UMNO guy because I’m not a Malay or bumiputera.

So, it’s true what Einstein said that ‘stupidity is infinite’. If these Malays are not infinitely stupid, would DAP take them in and push them up? Who in the right mind would ‘kill’ their own people just for pat on the head by others?

The End of Anwar Ibrahim?

I don’t like to give Anwar Ibrahim the limelight that he always craves for but I can’t help sharing my thoughts on the latest progress of his trial with you.

After Anwar was acquitted in 2008, I didn’t think he will ever be going back to jail again even if he was caught red-handed. I don’t know why I said this but I can sense something very complex about Malaysian politics that it is too unbelievable to discuss.

I hate politics, honestly.

Anyway, I must admit that Anwar is the center of it all and his story is too juicy to not follow through. DAP, PAS, PKR (PR) are bonded by and through him and UMNO, MCA, MIC (BN) are forced to play along with him. Kajang has to go through a by-election just for him and the government has to spend millions of ringgit just to ‘entertain’ him.

Malaysia is in a mess because of him. How can you not agree with his wife that he is truly a ‘Gift’ from God? Like it or not, we must admit that in a way, Anwar rules the country.

…Or is he? Have you ever asked, who rules Anwar?

The case of Sodomy II started in 2008, the trial started in 2010. Ever since, Anwar has always has his way. He treats the court like a game of make-believe.

And for God knows what reason, Anwar has been trying to disqualify the Lead Prosecutor, ‘the’ Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah - with no avail. And now, Anwar is forced to face ‘da man’ in court.

‘The’ Tan Sri Shafee had these pointed out in court yesterday:
1. The trial judge had made a crucial mistake by deciding that the tearing of the plastic bag containing the sealed samples amounted to tampering.
2. Not a whisper of an alibi was produced. The defence is dishonest when confronted with the video; they dropped the entire defence without a whisper.
3. Anwar’s statement was a bare denial like reading an Agatha Christie thriller.
4. It is only in the final two points, the judge decided to acquit.
5. There was no accusation of conspiracy. And if there was, where will Jude get the accused’s sperm? … I have never heard of raining semen.

As a loyal ‘spectator’ from this side of the PC since the very beginning, I agree with the Tan Sri that the evidence was overwhelming and I was surprised when Anwar was acquitted.

However, I must disagree with the Tan Sri on Agatha Christie’s thriller though, as I think that this is more like a Stephen King’s kind of thriller – ‘Living Dead Sperms’? Sperms finding their way out and into someone else’s rectum? Ugh..what a sick thriller novel would that be.
Only this thriller revolves around politics and where there is politics, there is always a mastermind. Now, who is the Mastermind of Malaysian politics? The US? or DAP? Or both, overlapping each other here and there?

I was made to understand that Karpal didn’t have much to say in court yesterday. It looks like Anwar is suddenly not so significant to anybody anymore and most likely he is going back to jail. Imagine, after years of getting away with all sorts of ridiculous reasons, finally, the judge can say ‘no’ to his attempt to postpone the trial again.

What a co-incidence that all these happen when DAP already has Khalid Ibrahim on one side, and Khairy Jamaluddin on the inside to count on, in their fights for Chinese political power. And of course, there is also Zahid Hamidi.

Well, we all know that the ISA was abolished as per DAP’s demand. Thanks to them, now everybody can provoke everybody in the name of ‘freedom of speech’. Just recently, the police already giving the Chinese special privilege. And it looks like Khairy is on the way to make sure that BTN no longer focus on ‘patriotism’.

Looks like the country is going exactly where DAP wants it to go. So why need Anwar Ibrahim anymore?

Now you know why Anwar is no longer ‘untouchable’?

You may and may not believe my theory but I’m warning you Malays, to better be paranoid than sorry.

Whatever it is, my theory could make a good political thriller novel, don’t you think? Without the ‘flying semen’, of course…. yucks!

“‘Lim Ah Guan’ Is Not Chinese, You Stupid Racist!”

Recently, a Minister, Tan Sri Joseph Kurup has come out with an idea to remove ‘race’ category in all forms and official forms. This way, he said, would help to truly unite all Malaysians whereby we don’t identify ourselves by race anymore.

The idea was received with a ‘slap’ by Perkasa, which I think the Tan Sri deserves.

As expected, MCA loves the idea and I bet so does DAP, since the same idea was raised by Hannah Yeoh not long ago when she couldn’t bring herself to register her newborn as an Indian - as per the father.

I really cannot imagine how does declaring one’s race would spark racial sentiment – unless, of course, for the hard-core racists.

And I honestly don’t think that Tan Sri Joseph is a racist, but I must apologize to the Tan Sri as I think that his idea is ‘delusionally-naïve’.

The only way to make the idea of removing ‘race’ in forms achieves its objective is by making sure that all Malaysians use Malaysian name, just like how Indonesians use Indonesian name regardless of their race. Our names identify our race that we don’t need the word ‘race:’ to divide us.

For example, there is no point in not stating the race if the name is Ahmad, Lim Ah Guan or Muthusamy. Everybody knows that Lim Ah Guan is not a Malay and Muthusamy is not a Chinese. Unless all Chinese and Indians are willing to be called Ali or Murad, then only the idea will make some sense.

However, I believe that the Chinese would be jumping up and down just hearing about my suggestion of using a Malaysian name. I can already hear them screaming ‘RACIST!’ hysterically and point out that Malaysian name must not necessarily sounds Malay. Well..well..so much of Malaysian first eh? Who is the racist here again?

So, how does a Malaysian name sounds like? Lim Ah Guan? Or Richard?

A true Malaysian must accept the fact that Malaysian identity is based on and revolves around Malay culture and tradition. A true Malaysian must embrace the country as it is – the roots and the routes it took to be what it is today.

If you refuse to acknowledge these facts, then not stating your race in official forms doesn’t make you a true Malaysian, but makes you the greatest hypocrite of all.

You see, removing ‘race’ in forms will not make a racist less racist, nor will it make the Chinese more patriotic and willing to let their kids join the army. Removing ‘race’ will not make DAP hates Malays any less.

However, I bet it will open more opportunities for the Chinese to climb the ladder to the highest posts in GLCs but will not guarantee the same opportunity for the Malays in private sectors. It will also help the Chinese conquer government projects, but it will not guarantee the Malay entrepreneurs to not be sabotaged by the Chinese wholesalers, manufacturers or shop-owners.

Now, be informed that ‘race’ is always the game here and I’m only helping the Malays and the Bumis to see it clearly. Don’t be so naïve ok? Don’t be delusional also. The only people who support Tan Sri Joseph’s idea of unity are the racists, disguised only in slogans of ‘Malaysian First’. These people are pathetic hypocrites of the worst possible kind.

If these people are sincere in striving for unity, then they must first let go of vernacular schools which is clearly ‘race-based’. Except for Malaysia, no other country in the world has vernacular schools as everybody knows that it would become the breeding ground of the racists.

In fact, I believe that we would not be talking about this stupid racial sentiments and Tan Sri Joseph wouldn’t come out with his stupid idea of removing ‘race’ in forms, and I, would not be writing this stupid article, if Malaysia didn’t have the stupid vernacular schools in the first place.

As stupid as the Tan Sri’s idea is, the people who is pushing for the idea are not that stupid, but only stupid enough to think that everybody else is as stupid. So, how stupid can you be?

Doomed For Being So Dumb

Rome did not become a great civilization in 5 years time. China did not become a great empire in 10 years time. The Jews did not become a great power in a couple of years. Great successes take years and years of hardwork, planning and focus. In most cases, it surpasses few generations before the success is able to be materialized.

Every educated person knows this but yet not every educated person understands it.

Malaysia has always long to be a great nation and our leaders have been harping on it ever since. However, as leaders changed, the perception of a ‘great nation’ changes too. The terms of ‘hardwork’, ‘planning’ and ‘focus’ is being redefined in line with the changes.

Malaysia, at one time, had become an economic tiger and stood tall on our own two feet. We look east not because we were forced to, but because we chose to. We had the power to choose and to have our own opinions. We even had the power to say what we like, even if it means offending the superpowers.

We could have become a great nation should we stay focus and stay on the same path and not deviate from the plans. But we did just the opposite. Therefore, we are now back to zero and is again struggling to reach square one.

The lesson we never learn is that the successor must acknowledge the predecessor’s legacy and continue to build a bigger legacy from the same path. If a leader chose to build a new legacy from a whole new path then we will find ourselves going back and forth every time the leadership changes.

And every time we change the leader, is like taking three steps forward but five steps back.

Malays make the majority of Malaysians. Therefore, regardless of racial or religious sentiments, we have to accept the fact that in order for Malaysia to be strong, we need the Malays to be strong. Unfortunately, this, is the most difficult part.

While the Chinese hold on very tightly to their roots and stay focus on making their family, clan or race great throughout the generations, the Malays hold their roots very loosely and live by ‘one generation at a time’.

It is a well known but deniable facts that the Chinese in Malaysia, or DAP, particularly, has a plan to take over the country from the Malays - as seen in 13 May 1969. DAP failed then, but they learned the lesson well. They have never regretted that 13 May happened, they only denying the blame.

There is no guarantee that DAP has ceased to dream of taking over Malaysia and there is so much evidence that they are still working on it. With what is happening today, it seems very clearly that the plans, the hardwork, the focus to achieve this objective continue, only with different strategy after taking into consideration all the possible setbacks. All the while, they move in masses to persecute the plans, slowly, strategically and very patiently over centuries and generations. Every election counted and studied carefully to help them manipulate the Malays’ emotions and sentiments.

This theory of DAP’s grand design to take over the country is too much to digest by the simple Malays mindset. If only it remains a theory, which I doubt, then things will be alright for Malaysia.

The Malays in general didn’t learn anything from 13 May 1969. Except from grieving over it, many of them refuse to believe that DAP could be as ambitious and remains focus on the same objective after generations. This is nothing to be surprised about as we all know that the Malays are still having a hard time making sense of the Jews conspiracy to rule the world. All they know is that the Quran warns them to be careful of the Jews and the disbelievers… and so, that’s all they do - they ‘be careful’.

But they don’t know how to tackle or react to it except warning their children and their women to stay ‘clean’.

The Malay’s simple mind makes them unable to read between the lines and understand the strategies of the Jews or the Chinese. More often than not, the Malays use their hearts instead of their brains to figure things out.

The complicated conspiracies of the Jews to conquer the world as well as the twisting plots and strategies of the Chinese to conquer the country are simply too ‘difficult’ and ‘too long’ to even think about, what more to tackle it. And so the Malays decided that it is not true or even if it is, then it must be the fault of someone or something else which is beyond their control. As such, they would rather ignore it and get busy preparing to go to heaven. In more extreme cases, they believe that all the answers for the problems lies in the implementation of hudud law. Once they implement Hudud, Allah will save them from the cruelty of the enemies of Islam, so they thought.

Sadly, the Malay leaders have the same simple mindset as the ordinary Malays on the streets. They refuse to digest all these complicated conspiracies and strategies and prefer to assume that it is an exaggeration made up of wild-imagination over too much CIA movies on TV. They believe that the Chinese, the US, the Singaporeans are simple people just like them, who are happy enough just to have a country to rule.

Not for a slight moment did they stop and ponder how did we end up in such a mess when we had just celebrated our glory. How come the Christians are suddenly demanding this and that? Why are the non-Muslims provoking the Muslims when we have never had such problems before? Why the Malays are frustrated at the government? Why did these things happen today? How do we come to this?

Just like the rise or fall of all great civilizations, these things don’t happen overnight.

Any good leader would have seen it coming when these quarters asked the government to abolish the only Acts that could have screwed up their plans, that is, the ISA.

Then they demand for ‘openness’ until the government is forced to ‘invite’ them into the team by ‘helping’ and ‘assisting’ with consultations and advices where they managed to screw things up from the inside.

Meanwhile, their counterparts keep on provoking and challenging the majority just to keep the temperature at boiling point.

Again, let me remind you dear leaders that this is not an impromptu reaction nor is it a co-incidence. It is all ‘well-planned’ - step-by-step, and accordingly.

With all these plans already making impact, how do we be sure how thick, how deep or how high the plot is. How far have their plans been taking-off and succeeded? I think we should have some idea about how bad the situation is when we have Regina Lee among the people who have access or may be give opinions on where the country should be heading.

Now, I may sound crazy but I’m sure all of us have heard about the quote to better be safe than sorry. And, I’m sorry to say that the Malays are already in a ‘sorry’ state. Other people imagine, think, plans, plots, strategize and make it happen, while the Malays sit, look, listen, shrug it off and dream away.

I’m telling you that if the Malays want to survive in this era of ‘bright is right’, they cannot afford to be as simplistic-thinking as they have always been. Only the brightest minds survive nowadays. The fallen civilizations, the torn-apart countries, the slaughtered nations - they are all doomed because at some point, they have become dumb.

Malaysians VS Malays-ians?

DAP keeps on denying that there was a ‘Chinese Tsunami’ in the last General Election. According to DAP’s ‘common-sense’, the case of 97% Chinese rejected BN in the last election is supposed to be referred to as ‘Malaysian’s Tsunami’ not ‘Chinese’. In the same breath, DAP insists that they are not ‘Chinese’ but instead, ‘Malaysians’.

If ‘Malaysians’ rejected BN, then who were those people who voted for BN in the election? Aren’t they Malaysians too? Since UMNO’s vote had increased despite BN’s worst performance, then the answer to the question must be the ‘Malays’. The Malays are not Malaysians, eh?

With that, DAP is indirectly saying that Malaysia is divided into two: the ‘Malaysians’ on one side, and ‘Malays’ on the side.

And now, DAP is pushing for a National Reconciliation in order to tackle the racial polarization problems. And I thought that we have no racial problems? I thought it was just a case of some ‘Malaysians’ prefers PR over BN?

I’ve been reading Lim Kit Siang’s blog and I can tell you that almost every piece of material in it is about racial problems. Since there are no more ‘race’ in Malaysia (because we are all ‘Malaysians’, according to Kit Siang’s common sense), this racial problems must be started by the ‘un-Malaysian-Malays-who-voted-UMNO’.

Now, can you see how Kit Siang plays his racist card?

If you can’t see that, then let me explain it to you:

Kit Siang is telling us that the problem of this country is the Malays in UMNO and that the only way to solve this problem is to get rid of Malays and UMNO. Without Malays and UMNO, Malaysia would be a better country.

Now, let me tell you what ‘better country’ means for Kit Siang:

A better country for Kit Siang is where the Malays no longer hold the political power and the chinese can build properties on any kampung they like; Kampung Baru would be first and foremost. A better country for Kit Siang is when no Malays hold any top posts in any government agencies and GLCs anymore. A private company may pay double or triple to some stupid Chinese or expatriates, but never ever promote or hire even the most outstanding Malays for top posts. A better country for Kit Siang is when there are no more rooms for the Malays to compete with the Chinese – no UiTM, no GiatMara, no ASB, no government special bumi loans or grants to start a business, no nothing for the Malays! And there must also be no JAKIM and no Sultans to protect the needs of the Muslims in regards of their religion.

Again, the only thing that is holding ‘the Malaysians’ back from Kit Siang’s version of a ‘better country’ is UMNO and Malays! Am I right, Kit Siang?

There, I have laid it out to you loud and clear. If you like Kit Siang’s version of a better country, then it is your choice. However, I would like to point out to you that you should not call yourself a Malaysian if you agree with Kit Siang. What Kit Siang has in mind is a replica of Singapore with himself as Lee Kwan Yew. Therefore, it will only make more sense if you call yourself a Singaporean instead.

To save the trouble for all of you guys who love Kit Siang’s idea of a better country, I suggest that you migrate to Singapore because that way, you don’t have to get rid of the Malays and UMNO. The only setback would be, it won’t be Kit Siang that is holding the power, but Lee Kwan Yew. And this is why Kit Siang needs to turn Malaysia into Singapore so that he can be the power that be, and not any other guy from some other clans. Bottomline is, Kit Siang battle is all about power for himself or at least, his family.

As for me, I can never agree with Kit Siang. A person who refused to assimilate with the original settlers is simply arrogant and rude. History has proven that such a person is a definite tyrant. How does a tyrant make a good leader and create a better country?

In Malaysia, we have not one Kit Siang, but almost all these supposedly ‘Malaysians’ share Kit Siang’s dream of a better country where there is nothing Malaysian about it. They refuse to honour the national language, they choose to be separated from the national education system, want to abolish or change the constitution, history, identity and everything that spells Malaysian. In fact they want to create another ‘Singapore’ on Malaysian ground, complete with a taste of ‘China’ in it.

For your information, my relatives in Australia are beginning to get pissed off of the Chinese immigrants over there for the same reason – they refuse to assimilate and started to build their own ‘territory’ – even seem to want to conquer the country, part by part, town by town. I mean, who can tolerate such attitude?

For me, a better country is where the people live in harmony by respecting each other mutually and equally. A better country is where the people share the love of the country just the same, embrace history and accept it as it is, learn from it and strive to be better, together. You cannot claim to be a Malaysian until you can relate to Parameswara, Sultan Muzafar Shah, Hang Tuah, Tun Perak or Dato’ Bahaman or Mat Kilau or Kanang Anak Langkau…etc..

You see, although you have the rights to agree with Kit Siang about a ‘better Malaysia’, but that would mean that you have no rights to call yourself a ‘Malaysian’. And whatever you say will not change the fact that what happened in GE13 was definitely a Chinese Tsunami, not Malaysians.

It is not the ‘government’ that is a problem for DAP or Kit Siang, it is the ‘Malay-government’. It is not UMNO, but it is the fact that UMNO represents the Malays.

With DAP, it has always been the Chinese against the Malay-UMNO-government.
